The World of Detective Conan
Detective Conan follows the story of Shinichi Kudo, a 17 years old detective who inadvertently got transformed back into a 7 years old child after an unfortunate event: As he was following two suspicious men, he suddenly was assaulted from behind by a third man who then forced him to swallow a deadly prototype pill their organization has been working on. After leaving him there for dead, Shinichi eventually shrank instead of dying, one of the, unknown at the time, side effects of the poison.
Throughout the series, Shinichi (who took the name "Conan" as a child) will be trying his hardest to retrace those people while keeping his new identity a secret from most of his surroundings to protect his dear ones. As a child, his hugely impressive talent of deduction hasn't been one bit affected by the events of that day. With the help of his friends and closed ones, he's gonna spend his time solving cases episode after episode in the hope of closing on those "bad guys".
